The "child author" workshops guide your child towards creating their first book. During the workshop, I will encourage your child to find and explore their imaginary, regardless of its expression: drawing, writing, poetry, recipes, etc., while learning to the skills necessary to conceive and illustrate a book. At the end of the workshop, the drawings and story created in close collaboration with the child will take shape in the form of a book that will become the jewel of your bookcase.
Thanks to Anuta, Bertille was able to create a real book: the story follows a thread, the drawings are well displayed, the whole thing is joyful and charming. She gave it to her father for his birthday. He was very proud to receive this book whose author is his own daughter. He frequently takes it out of our library to look at it with her.
— Gaëlle Jullien, Bertille's mother
I am a Romanian artist and illustrator living in Paris. My experience as a printmaker and teacher enabled me to observe and analyze children’s innate talent and natural genius.
The idea of the "child author" was the result of my great desire to shine a light on masterpieces created by children. In my opinion, they are at least as interesting as those created by adults.
I am convinced that children need us to trust their talent. I can see this everyday in my son that will soon turn 6.
